When I started my new work journey at my new building, my team-mates and I were given a small african violet plant as a "welcome home" gift. In 4 short months, it has more than doubled its size in the little pot it was given in. Thanks to a co-worker who just happened to have the SAME pot as we purchased for our first houseplant-only in a smaller size and different color-it now has a new home!
Now if I could just remember to bring it back to work! I love that what it symbolizes. Growth.

Volunteer Fair!
One of Chelle's great passions, besides the whole DIY/creating sector of her life, is community. Chelle is extremely active in the community as both a volunteer and board-member of diversity and inclusion networks within the "Corporate America" aspect of our lives. Here she is with her mentor in that arena, Christy! Christy, we wanted to give you a shout-out, because without you, Chelle's true passion for all things community-centered would never have been sparked in such a way. Thank you for the impact you've had!

Kudos
Chelle is loving things in her new building at work, and although she DOES miss being able to carpool with Kevin every morning, she also enjoys being that person in the car beside you at a red light having a concert with herself.
Chelle was recognized this month as one of her company's 2010 Diversity Champions. This came as great news to Chelle and she is very proud of herself and the article published about her(just ask her, she'll tell you all about it).
