Garage Sales

This previous weekend, Chelle and two of the little sisters actually made it out of bed before 9am on Saturday to go garage saling. This is a quest that is often talked about, but never actually occurs. Garage saling turned out to be a bid success! Chelle's fave find of the day was this new, unopened beverage picture! We'd really like to get a couple of big ones for the wedding and just to have for parties in general. You'd be surprised at how a simple beverage holder can add effect to a gathering.

Chelle also got FOUR more serving platters (like we needed any more), some old candlesticks (to be used in making cake/cupcake pedestals), an opened shadowbox frame (insert DIY project here), an old shelf (to be repurposed and used above the couch), some red kitchen canisters (that will have their labels repainted in chalkboard paint) and an old black bottle, which is now sitting on our bedroom dresser.

Chelle also collaborated with Kevin on how to decorate the downstairs bathroom. We are SO excited for how this is going to look! A hint: we'll be using a piece of scrap plywood, and the 3 leftover shutters from another project that's currently in the works. Random, huh? Chelle has already gotten started and we cant wait to finish up and show you what we've done!

The office organization system is also almost complete. The pegboard is primed and will be painted this week!

We know we've been missing for a while when it comes to DIY projects, but expect BIG things in the coming weeks!!
